Today is my first attempt at this week’s homework — triadic color combinations. Much like E. yesterday, I have paired purple, green(ish), and orange. The green and purple are no stretch for me but adding that pop of orange in the shoes and earrings is not something I would have thought of before the color challenges. I think it is quite a fun combo, especially with the patterned shoe.
As I mentioned at the end of a week of complementary colors and two-thirds, these color challenges have revealed some gaps in my personal color wheel, thus a shopping trip was greatly in need. I gave myself a little weekend homework and shopped purposefully for the needed colors(mostly orange and yellow) and for pattered pieces. So, I am submitting these shoes as my first homework item.
