Changing academic fashion, one PhD at a time

Fashion 101

Fashion 101 - blackboard

In this section, we will explore various strategies of style, from creatively combining patterns and colors to understanding proportion and fit. We’re not style experts; we just know that getting dressed is a lot more interesting with a methodology in place! For each module, we become the students and try to put into practice the theories we propose. For one week, we experiment with a specific concept and create outfits exploring that Fashion 101 lesson. And we invite your participation too! Remember to drop us an e-mail if you find one of these modules useful or check out our Calls for Paper sections to have your look featured on our site!
