Oooh! I have two that I can’t choose between. My favourite ring is Sterling Silver Ring R01687 in Amethyst and my favourite bracelet is Sterling Silver Bracelet B00653 periodot!
wow. gorgeous statement ring!
another one i like is
Sterling Silver Ring R01692 (in amethyst).
hope i am lucky – have a great weekend everyone! :)
LOVE the stylized “om” pendant- (PO1303). This is an awesome giveaway!-thanks.
I loved all the posts in DYB week, but if I HAD to pick it would E.’s post on her cheeks- mine do the same thing to my spectacles!!!- but seriously- it really resonated with me. Great topic ladies, hope to see more in the coming months!
luv the – all-over yellow post since i am expecting and have yellow undertones too…still looking for a perfect mustard yellow top to work with.
thanks for the giveaway!
I love that ring! It’s my birthstone, too. I also really love the sterling silver cuff bracelet,
I think my favorite DYB post was the “Learning to Love It” pencil skirt one. I am all about wallowing in the love for a nice big ass, and I love the mid-century pencil skirt style.
Wow, thank you so much for this giveaway. What a gorgeous ring. I’m a sucker for statement rings.
I like the garnet pendant necklace P01329. Beautiful detail!
I have enjoyed all the posts this week. I especially liked “All-Over Yellow.” Yellow is really one of my favorite colors – so cheerful. But I am also learning to like my own skin – and all it’s freckles. It is, after all the only skin I’ll ever have.
I loved the R00827 ring in garnet!
…and for my next comment, I liked E.’s post about her arms. I like focusing on what the body can DO rather than just what it looks like. Thanks for a great series!
I especially appreciate S.’s tribute to her chest. As an even smaller-chested woman, it can be hard to find the upside of having minimal/almost non-existent cleavage.
Sterling Silver Pendant P01329 was my favorite
I love the E00647 earrings in smokey topaz. What a great site! Peridot is my birthstone, so clearly I am meant to win that ring. :)
Other than the gorgeous ring you showed another fave would be the sterling cuff bracelet.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I love this jewelry! Thank you for introducing me to it. I am eyeing the Sterling Silver Bracelet with red stones in it. TIMELESS!
I liked the sternum post a lot – it’s such an easy area to feature (and to overlook!), and the dress redo was fabulous!
As for posts: I really enjoyed your “all over yellow” post. Helping me to overcome my fear of yellow!
As for other blogs (I thought you might mean “out there” besides Academichic: What a Nerd Would Wear’s “Some Sentimentality” . An inspirational post.
I love this tourquoise, lapis, and coral pendant, but the peridot ring in the giveaway is gorgeous too.
http://www.lalabjewelry.com/collections/pendants/products/sterling-silver-pendant-2
It was hard to choose a favorite DYB post, but I like S.’s on her breasts. I can definitely relate, but I also like her emphasis on the beautiful diversity of the female form.
I love that ring! To complement it, I really like the Sterling Silver Pendant P01087, since it’s the perfect companion.
I hope I’ll get lucky!! :)
My favorite item is the Sterling Silver Bracelet B00502.
My favorite posts? Many, many, and I discovered new blogs because of the long list of participants. But among the three of you I’d have to choose the ones about the strong legs and the full cheeks.
Love the sterling silver cuff, though this ring is right up my alley as well!
And I loved and identified with the Mom Arms post!
I love the sterling ring R00694 in garnet.
Great giveaway!
I love A’s booty post from today. I struggle with embracing my plump rump! LOL!
Ooooh pretty!
I love this ring
http://www.lalabjewelry.com/collections/rings/products/sterling-silver-rings-22
So modern and cool
http://www.lalabjewelry.com/collections/rings/products/sterling-silver-rings-14
Love this one in garnet. There are a lot of fantastic pieces on this cite
Love the Sterling Silver Earrings E00716 in garnet – it’s my birthstone and what a gorgeous design!
My favorite DYB so far has been e’s post on skin color. While makeup is indeed challenging for Asian girls, it also allows us to wear rich jewel tones without getting washed out. I’m also a huge fan of wearing all things yellow (cardigans, t-shirts, shoes…). So cheery!
This ring is totally my favorite. I have oodles of garnet and sterling silver jewelery. I love hard dark it looks!
http://www.lalabjewelry.com/collections/rings/products/sterling-silver-rings-14
I adore these starburst-like earrings!: Sterling Silver Earrings E01179
And this post- Mary’s belly love- is my favorite of all the Dress Your Best posts so far this week.
http://undergradfab.blogspot.com/2010/05/dybw-belly.html
My favorite DYB entry was actually E’s on her skin tone. You see, I am a mix of Cherokee and Irish, which has produced my super pale complexion. Growing up, I loathed how my cheeks were naturally flushed, and avoided wearing any orange or peach tones even though I love them, or dying my hair auburn, which I also love. You know, cause I was hearing the Indian part of me would clash with it.
Then I graduated from school and decided I was old enough to decide these things for myself. I dyed my hair red and have kept it that way for the past three years, because I feel the most “me” as a redhead. And my favorite cardigan is peach colored.
And I never have to wear blush!
After many years as a kid wishing I could tan, I have embraced my complexion in all it’s pale glory, and am grateful that my parents insisted on sunscreen.
I love the sterling silver chunky link bracelet. I really like everything on the site though!
My favorite: Sterling Silver Earrings E01179. Not only do they come in amethyst (my birthstone), but they also look like fireworks.
Loving the Sterling Silver Earrings E01407
I liked all of the posts for DYB week, especially the posts (by many different bloggers) about legs. It was awesome to read about so many people appreciating their bodies’ strongest muscles and celebrating the fitness their legs help them maintain.
My favorite DYB post this week has to be e’s post about her cheek. I too have a very round face with little apples’s for cheeks. Despite my lack of strong cheekbones, I love my face shape and the way it reminds me of my Ukrainian heritage.
Sterling Silver Earrings E00716 in garnet, they are fabulous. I’d rock the hell out of them.
I’m in love with the ring RO 1692. They show it in amethyst- and it’s gorgeous. I’ve needed a ring for ages, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
Okay, the DYB post that hit a nerve for me was A’s about her ass in pencil skirts. I, too, struggle with the ample bottom, and she looks so hot and lovely in her skirt, it has motivated me to quit trying to hide it so much and to “let it shine”.
Well done, academics. This DYB was a fantastic idea. It’s one thing to talk about “we should love our bodies”- it’s another to actually do it. These posts, this whole exercise of embracing ourselves,is an example of how doing and showing can be so much more effective than telling. Really, well done.
I love the Sterling Silver Bracelet–the one that’s like a cage. I love a larger bracelet.
I think Tania’s post today (May 14) about her hair–which is really beautiful–as a marker of survival was really touching and honest and worked to remind me that spending time disliking my body is a waste of a finite commodity.
I love this one: http://www.lalabjewelry.com/collections/bracelets/products/sterling-silver-bracelet-8
Thank you for the giveaway!
I love the Sterling Silver Earrings E01717. They feel very mystical and old-world to me.
Sterling Silver Rings R01184 is gorgeous (as is the peridot ring)!
My favorite post this week is the one entitled “small and humble, so you don’t confuse them with mountains.” I can totally relate to her body type, and who doesn’t love Shakira?
I love A’s post from today. My body is shaped very similarly to A’s, and likewise, I have a pretty serious bottom. I have been self conscious about it for most of my life, because of less-than-thoughtful commentary from the female members of my family. A definitely inspired me to embrace my butt.
The style is easy: I love ring R01687. But the color? Amethyst? Topaz? Citrine? I’m not sure. Maybe I need three.
Sterling Silver Earrings E00833 because whenever I buy earrings, they tend to be dangly– despite often working jobs that require “SMALL” earrings, whatever that means (smaller than quarters, professional earrings, yes). Anyway that ring looks like it grew out of the ground on another planet. I have a friend who would love it.
I love the “Sterling Silver Double Rope” bracelet the most! (Although the ring *is* my birthstone so that would be really nice to win!)
My favorite DYB post was today’s on “All Over Yellow” because it gave me a great idea for an outfit!
I love all of the necklaces and pendants…I think my fave though is the sterling silver necklace N00393.
bethanne.ab(at)gmail.com
Sterling Silver Ring R01692 and Sterling Silver Mesh Bracelet are my faves
I like the Sterling Silver Earrings E01579! So cute:)
I liked Kendi’s post: http://kendieveryday.blogspot.com/2010/05/skin-deep.html
about celebrating her skin tone by wearing bright colors!
Oh, wow–these are gorgeous pieces! I love all of the rings, but especially “Sterling Silver Rings R00931.”
Great post by A. about her rear view! I’m built about the same way: slim, but with a curvy caboose. Joining our local roller derby team finally made me appreciate it–a grand booty is a real defensive asset! :-)
What a gorgeous piece! I love the Sterling Silver Ring #R01577 with citrine. The rose metal with the orangey stone is lovely.
This is some seriously gorgeous jewelry. Just curious, the symbol in Sterling Silver Pendant P01303, does it mean something? There’s no explanation. That’s actually my favorite piece though – I love turquoise.
My favorite DYBW post this week was “The Space We’ll Fill With Time” on Between Laundry Days. It’s always classy and stylish to show off a nice collarbone. Great idea for connecting the blogs – I’d love to see something similar in the future, like “wear your favorite piece different ways” or “find your most flattering colors.”
Wow, what a fabulous ring! I love the sterling silver mesh bracelet (http://www.lalabjewelry.com/collections/bracelets/products/sterling-silver-mesh-bracelet)
The Learning to Love it post (http://www.academichic.com/2010/05/14/13-april-2010-learning-to-love-it-2/) was my favorite of the week. I have the same feelings about my bottom.
Love the beautiful Sterling Silver Mesh Bracelet!
E’s cheeky post was my fave… made me smile, and i have big cheeks too! but i never thought of them negatively!
from another blog, this was one of my faves… because she DID come up with 5 faves in the end, and showcased an outfit to flaunt them! http://promiseslikepiecrust.blogspot.com/2010/05/sure-ill-dress-my-best-if-only-i-could.html
first, i love peridot, i almost died when i saw this giveaway!
i went on their site and i also love the ring that is two squares but they don’t completely come together in the middle, unique, love unique jewelry.
i loved “what would a nerd wear” post today about her hair (she’s in remission) and it was touching, i felt connected to her and i think this WHOLE dyb week has felt really connecting between women in the blogosphere. thanks for the opportunity!
My favourite thing from the lala b site is definitely their R01184 ring (I specially liked it in green). It has a futuristic feel to it… I’m thinking I could turn into a superhero when I put it on and it would be my secret weapon :)
The Dress Your Best has generated many cool posts. There are two that I’ve particularly liked: Ajnabieh – the foreigner’s “Dressing Your Best Post #2: Mannishly” and Future Lint’s “Le ta-tas”. I can relate to both their stories; and I like the honesty of their posts.
I really like the sterling silver ring set from la la b! It would be a great staple to add some shine to a work outfit.
I liked E’s post on dressing for her arms! The dress was cute and a reminder not to cover up with cardigans all the time this summer!
http://www.lalabjewelry.com/collections/bracelets/products/sterling-silver-bracelet-10
Love it.. its plain sterling no stones.. and goes with lot of other sterling stuff i have.. would buy it soon :)
and I love the Cheeky Post..
I have all elements of the post in my wardrobe.. so i will steal the look soon.. all i need is the right weather.. Chicago warm up a bit :)
I love the stacked silver rings!
I’m loving this bracelet: http://www.lalabjewelry.com/collections/bracelets/products/sterling-silver-mesh-bracelet
I love the sterling silver bracelet–it looks kind of wonderwoman in the forestesque.
In terms of favorite posts…. It’s so hard to choose, but here I’d say E’s tribute to her cheeks, and “out there” I’d say Tania’s tribute to her hair was poignant and inspirational.
Oh, and my favorite DYB post? All of them, really! But I especially loved E’s on her cheeks, because I’m a woman with some well-endowed cheeks as well, and I adore them.
My favorite would have to be this ring: http://www.lalabjewelry.com/collections/rings/products/sterling-silver-rings-8
I actually liked the pendant that matches the ring!
I have enjoyed the latest series very much and think it’s great that you are promoting people being happy with themselves as they are. My favorite was the booty post! Own it and flaunt it I say!
I LOVE peridots, so I love both the ring and Sterling Silver Earrings E01849 in peridot.
I liked all the posts celebrating A, E and S’s favorite features. I guess my favorite is the “mom-arm” post! I’m a mom too, but my babies are long grown. I’ve recently started some light weights to tone my arms, though, and am trying to love them more.
I love the Sterling Silver Bracelet (the grid cuff with the different gems throughout.
http://www.lalabjewelry.com/collections/bracelets/products/sterling-silver-bracelet-8
My favorite post this week was E’s on skin tone. It was very poignant and salient especially with the current racial/xenophobic tensions occurring in this country. Thank you for posting about it.
I love the sterling silver earrings with the amethyst. So pretty!
My favorite post this week has been the “mom arms” post. We’re excitedly expecting our first little one in August, and I’m sure I’ll see some differences in my arms after carrying the baby around so much.
I love the necklace with the garnets (three vertical stones…)
Wow – their things are lovely, but I’m especially fond of Sterling Silver Necklace P00535 in amythyst (although Sterling Silver Rings R01184 might be a tie).
My favourite DYB post would have to be “all-over yellow”. I have not aways been so fond of my skin tone (ruddy, kind of dull) and it inspired me to find ways to appreciate it, help make it work and find ways to dress for it.
I’ve been really into bracelets recently, so the Sterling Silver Bracelet B00502 caught my eye immediately. This is something I would definitely wear a lot.
Great blog. Added it to my favorites.
I like the Sterling Silver Ring R00505.
Thanks for the DYB challenge.
They have so many lovely pieces! I guess that my favorite piece is Sterling Silver Pendant P01329. Thank you so much for having such a great blog and I really enjoyed reading about the DYB challenge.
I love this bracelet: http://www.lalabjewelry.com/collections/bracelets/products/sterling-silver-bracelet-8
I loved E’s post about wearing yellow!! Seeing the many incarnations of her favorite pieces was really fun.
I love the multi-gem sterling silver ring! It’s so fun and I wear those jewel tones a lot!
The amethyst chandelier earrings are gorgeous! They’re my pick.
It’s so hard to pick one post! But I think that there were two that stood out for me: E.’s celebration of her skin and Kendi’s post about her skin (at kendieveryday). They were both so honest — and they both acknowledged how much we’re affected by other people’s views and what it can take to overcome that criticism and decide to celebrate things we love about ourselves.
My favorite piece is the first bracelet, Sterling Silver Bracelet.
http://www.lalabjewelry.com/collections/bracelets/products/sterling-silver-bracelet-8
I adore the sterling silver bracelet (the first one on the bracelets page).
E’s post on her skin tone was my favorite post of the week, since I am Asian and can totally relate.
My favorite lala b jewelry is actually the ring that is the giveaway: http://www.lalabjewelry.com/collections/rings/products/sterling-silver-rings-1.
Beautiful and unique!
My favorite academichic DYB post is A’s ode to her butt. I REALLY APPRECIATE the whole DYB theme and it has got me noticing my own underappreciated body parts. I was at the gym and noticed how round and shapely my butt is, and then later that day read A’s post. (I also loved the link to someone else’s blog about her tum.)
I really like the ring R00812 in Garnet
It’s really hard to decide – I’m torn between “Sterling Silver Necklace P00535″ and “Sterling Silver Ring R01687 in smokey topaz”.
I enjoyed “Cheeky” because I too am round-cheeked!
The sterling silver and peridot ring is beautiful, and I love the pendant version as well!
I really enjoyed the sternum post, with the refashioned dress!
I like this ring in amethyst.
Sterling Silver Ring R01692
I liked A.’s post “Learning to Love It.”
I love the Sterling Silver Ring R01692 (in amethyst), mostly because I am drawn to big stones. Thanks for the DYB week posts!
ooh they are all pretty but i think i like Sterling Silver Ring R00880 in smoky topaz
Wow – beautiful ring!! I also like “Sterling Silver Rings R00827″ – they have some beautiful jewlery
Ooh, I love the “Sterling Silver Ring R01692″ in citrine — gorgeous!
that is a great site. the ring pictured is kinda weird, but in a good way.
my favorite is Sterling Silver Rings R00672.
I’ve enjoyed all the body-positive blogging! :)
Ooh, they have great stuff. I love the Sterling Silver Rings R00931.
And I think my fave DYBW post was Chelsea’s Baby Got Back post! SO great!
Great series of posts, ladies! To try my luck with everyone else, I’ll add that I really like the bracelet B00653. Keep up the good work – I love reading your blog.
Sterling Silver Necklace P00535 – in garnet – thank you – and great piece this week!
I loved this post: http://www.academichic.com/2010/05/14/14-may-2010/
I’m insecure about my arms, and it is great to see a woman flaunt them. Eat your heart out, Michelle Obama.
I love Sterling Silver Ring R01687 and Sterling Silver Bracelet B00502 – can’t decide which is cuter!
Liked E’s post about her arms and all the posts that inspired me to appreciate the way I look and to continue to try to stay fit and healthy!
I loved DYB Week, and next time around, I’m in! My favorite piece of jewelry from Lala B is the Sterling Silver Rings R00880 in Amethyst. The peridot is equally gorgeous, however.
Such lovelies! My favorite is Sterling Silver Pendant P01087.
And as far as favorite DYB posts go, it’s a tie between Kristin from Bird on Your Shirt’s feet post, Clare’s post on her smile, and my Millie’s post on her strong, long legs.
I love the sterling silver bracelet that looks like mesh with small jewels in it. Gorgeous!
I really like the Sterling Silver Rings R00931 here: http://www.lalabjewelry.com/collections/rings/products/sterling-silver-rings-14
I loved the R00827 ring!
I love the sterling silver rings in multigem (Sterling Silver Rings R00505). I think the different colors together look wonderful, and would go with so many different outfits!
Ooh, I love the smoky topaz ring (ring R01087)- I just love the unique band!
Loving this pendant, Sterling Silver Pendant P01329. It reminds me of a local jeweler’s work in a good way!
Ooh, that ring is neat. I dig the R01087 ring with the two topaz stones too.
Love love LOVE that ring! I am a huge fan of large rings. I usually wear mine as something of a statement piece.
I’m also really digging this matching pendant:
http://www.lalabjewelry.com/collections/pendants/products/sterling-silver-necklace-2
I like r01544 the very first pink one (because it’s my favorite color)
I love, love the garnet ring that is on the lala b jewelry sight. Too cute!
Ohhh pretty shiny things!
I love the R01184 sterling ring! Crazy cool
I really liked the spherical pendant, but if I were to buy something it would be the “Sterling Silver Bracelet B00653.” I only end up wearing bracelets, and that one is just my sort.
Thanks for sharing the site!
I’ve only recently found academichic, and I have been reading old entries still. I love it!
My fave DYb is this http://nomoresweatpants.blogspot.com/2010/05/dressing-my-best-week-day-3-my-stems.html
I love the bracelet labeled B00117. :)
