Hmmm – I already have so much purple and grey that this would work with. Probably my buttercream grey boots, purple tights, and I just might be inspired to go pick up a grey sweater dress to top off with the scarf…
The one-sided fringe definitely needs to be highlighted–so pair it with a simple gray v-neck fine-gauge sweater and black trousers for work. Cozy for my freezing office!
my favorite scarves, by the way, are the cotton ones — the colors just pop and the fabric for me, like S@sha, makes me thing happy spring thoughts.
Oh – and definitely the bamboo scarf line – those are so much more interesting than the scarfs I have from the big chains (Gap etc).

Lovely scarf! I would wear it with a light pink cami, a gray v-neck cardigan, and a black pencil skirt. I’d probably wear black tights and boots with the outfit.
I think that I would wear it with my gray or black work dresses. I wish I had a yellow/goldish dress, I’ve been pairing my purple outfits with gold jewelry and loving it and I think it might work the other way with this scarf.
I also think that the Hannah Cashmere is so cute, I love the different colors in it, especially the blue and purple ones.
I would wear this scarf to work, with my all purpose LBD with a long sleeve T underneath, tights, and black boots. It would add a lot of interest to the look.

As for my favorite scarf from their site, I love the Sarah Crinkle scarves, especially in “sun.” They’re so vibrant and versatile.
I think I could wear this with just about everything! But it would look best with simple clothes: a v-neck, skinny jeans or pencil skirt, and boots.
I love all their scarves, but right now I think I would prefer silk, with the hopes that warmer weather is coming soon.

i LOVE the cloe cashmere loop scarves! i’ve noticed that almost all the scarves on their site resemble indian scarves and don’t get me wrong, i love them, but living in Australia and wearing scarves like that make me feel totally indian (since i’ve got indian blood). I’m afraid i might come off as a foreigner trying to incorporate traditional indian clothes (or parts of it) into western outfits, and looking like I’m trying too hard to blend in, when I’m actually sticking out. Hmmm, maybe I’m just realllly self conscious. That’s why although I love all their scarves and have a pretty large collection of scarves myself, I’d go for the Cloe loop scarf. It doent scream India and it’s unique. I’d love to win that!

That’s a nice scarf, is what I’d probably think if I saw it hanging in my closet after I wake up late tomorrow morning. I’d shower, brush my teeth, blow dry my hair, and wear a lycra cotton blend mid-calf black skirt that I bought some time in the 90s when Caroline Kennedy was the same style (before she died, of course), and then I’ll top it with a black mock turtle neck three-quarter sleeved sweater, and some silver stud earrings, black loafers, and then I’d remove the scarf that is hanging in my closet and loop it around my neck, European-style. I’d probably look in the mirror on my way out and then decide to double up on scarves, looping another one, a soft blue-grey shade, around my neck. And finally, after a quick hot tea for breakfast and some toast, I’d walk into the cloudy city and catch a tram to the library to return my overdue books… and I’d probably be in a quiet mood, knowing that I had got up and dressed that day thinking about austerity and overdue fines and coffee stalls sold out of muffins.
My favourite scarf on the Nepali TDM Design website is the masino due scarf in “fire”.
As for my favorite scarf from the site, i like the Tally Cashmere Scarf in toffee or biking red.

There are tons of ways I would wear this sweater but the first thing that comes to mind is paired with my gray slacks and black sweater for work.
This scarf has two of my favorite colors! I would probably pair it with my navy dress and a pair of boots.

After seeing the posting on the loop scarf earlier in the week, I love the cloe cashmere loop scarf they have on their website. I especially like that you can style it different ways depending on how many times you loop it around your neck.

I love the cloe cashmere loop scarf in grey and blue. It’s beautiful. Very elegant and cozy.
I’d style this one with a classic white shirt, and a blazer in gray which would make the purple stripes “pop” and also balance out the funky style of the scarf with a little bit of prep. I’d also wear my large hoop earrings with freshwater pearls dangling from them. For the bottom, probably a denim pencil skirt and some booties or skinny jeans and some cowboy boots!

I love the scrunchy design, I think I’ve seen it on one of you ladies before? I also love the bright red woven design that comes up on their homepage, but I didn’t spot it anywhere else. It’s the first one in the slideshow, I kept refreshing the page to look at it again. Le sigh.
I immediately thought of pairing it with a charcoal gray cardigan, jeans, and black riding boots… and most likely wearing it in the “loop-and-tie” style – my current favorite. I like the idea of having the purple in the scarf be the principal bit of color in an otherwise neutral outfit.
I love this scarf! I wear purple and gray all the time and might in fact have worn it today with my gray pants, purple shirt, and black sweater, around my neck.
i would style it with my geologist field clothes. i work outside in the cold every single day.

This scarf is lovely. Most of my wardrobe is purple and navy, I’d probably pair this with my gray “grandpa sweater,” dark wash skinny jeans, and a navy top to fancy the outfit up a little.

I would pair this scarf with my dark grey pencil skirt, white cardigan, and purple ballet flats. I know that’s getting a little matchy-matchy with the colors, but this scarf can definitely handle it!
And as for the rest of the Nepali by TDM Designs, the scrunchy cashmere scarf in Golden Poppy may be the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. And I may have to get it for myself, regardless.

for long scarves I’ve discovered a new way to wear them–I just tie the ends in two individual knots (so there is some weight at the end). Then I just let the scarf hang around my neck (no tying or anything, just like a long vest). It stays down because of the knots–it works perfectly with those long cotton or pashmina scarves.
since I love purple and yellow, AND grey and yellow, I’d pair the scarf with a mustard yellow long sleeve scoopneck tee and brown leggings (I totally caved into the leggings as pants trend…but I live on a college campus so it’s more normal there) tucked into brown harness Fryes.

I love to wear my scarves in a simple loose knot, although I love the idea of wearing a brooch or embellishment on one side, and having the scarf tied slightly to the other side, like was shown in a recent post; what a great idea!
Oh forgot to tell you how I’d style this beautiful purple and gray number.
Looks long enough to wear in a bulky wrap around the neck with gray cords or skirt and gray cardi.

I would wear that beautiful scarf tied in a European wrap (i think that is what you called it) – fold in half and then tuck the ends into the loop you have made.
I looked at Nepali scarves and they are all lovely, but I think I like the Spring/Summer scarves the most.
I would wear it with something navy-maybe a cardigan? Not really imaginative, but the scarf by itself is so beautiful, it hardly needs anything else.

Beautiful scarf! Lately, I’ve been upping the color quotient in my outfits, so I’d wear the scarf, tied twice around my neck and knotted in the front, with a teal long-sleeved dress, gray tights,and tall black (flat-heeled) boots. I have a pair of black elbow-length gloves that I’d add to the mix.

This is a lovely scarf. I’d want it to really stand out, so I would wear it with my grey sweaterdress that has a hint of purple in it, dark brown tights and dark brown boots. And some dangly earrings, maybe tiered hammered sliver hoops.

I am wearing more and more grey academic clothes. This scarf would be so nice on chilly biking mornings on my way to the university, together with my charcoal tweed knee-length flippy skirt, black tights and boots, and charcoal ribbed pullover.
Here is my separate comment after visiting the site. There are so many beautiful things there, but I especially like the Bambi Bridgette in blue (under Spring/Summer carves).
When the weather is as nasty and rainy/snowy as it has been this week, I’d rock the Russian grandma style and wrap it over my head, crossing it under my chin so I stay warm. It’s gotten me some funny looks but my head stays warm.

Glorious cashmere. I’d wear it on a snowy day like the ones hitting the north east now with dark denim jeans, and a layer or two of skinny tees–olive green, pastel pink, gray. Tied in the European loop style with a black beret.

This scarf is gorgeous! I think I would double it up with a lightweight solid purple patterned scarf I’ve got for warmth. I think with my fine-knit gray sweater and some chunky earrings!

I love the European Loop and would most likely wear this with many things but can see it perfectly with a lavender sweater I love and oddly enough usually wear a grey tank under it.
I think my favorite line from the Nepali site is the bamboo collection. Living in Florida it seems like they would be light enough for the beachy weather.
My first thought was like a lot of others – I have a grey cardigan that would look nice with this. But then I thought it might be more interesting paired with a mauve top I have. And probably black trousers… maybe I’d even belt over the sweater like you Academichicas do!

LOVE the spring summer scarves. Especially the Bambi collection. In the summer, my city is really hot in the subway station, cold in the train, hot outside, and cold again in many offices, so this would be the perfect piece to stay warmer in the oppressive AC!
I think I’d style it in a similar colour combo like the one A is wearing. I’d go maybe for jeans, grey sweater with a lighter grey longer tee that’s larger than the sweater. The pop of colour would be the scarf with its purplish notes.
Since we just were hit with two feet of snow, I can only think of winter outfits. I’d wear this scarf with my navy skinny cords, dark grey tissue turtleneck, and light mustard wool sweater.

The scarf I like the most at Nepali designs is the
Grande Cashmere Scarf in Citrus(orange). The scarf looks
amazingly warm and it’s such a cheerful color. As a side note,
the color options offered for the Cloe loop scarf do not
seem to match the blue/grey scarf pictured on Nepali’s website.
