Endnotes:
Like S., I love brown and blue together, but had sort of forgotten what a fabulous color combination it is until S.’s post last week.  When I saw S.’s ensemble, I immediately started thinking about how I could appropriate the look.  I particularly liked how sharp the brown and white geometric pattern looked paired with the two close shades of bright blue.
For my version I chose my brown and white striped skirt and, once again hiked it up and belted it high around my waist.  I reversed S.’s blues by layering my brighter more saturated blue scarf over the lighter sweater.

Now, if only this color combination could help me write the way it did for S.!

I love the color of that scarf! I’m a fan of mixing blue and brown together myself, but somehow it doesn’t seem to help me get much writing done these days. :)

For some reason, this outfit really speaks to me! I love the high waisted skirt, and I am always a pashmina fan.

What a beautiful silhouette! I think it suits you like a glow. I really really love the look, however I can not stop thinking about iron.

You look so utterly amazing in this silhouette, and this combination of colors rock (!). I actually had to show both my boyfriend and mother one of your pictures when you’re wearing a similar outfit (october 7?) – just because I thought it was very inspiring.

I am SO going to try to emulate this style tomorrow, see if it can work for me and my hips too.
