Happy to see Nerp again :)

That yellow top looks great with your coloring, and I love the ruffles. I doubt there's any shade of yellow I could wear, with my pale skin and dark yellow hair - it just doesn't work.

Having a yellowish skin tone prevents me form wearing too much yellow. But I'm really trying to give it a chance, even though I feel like I keep failing. Perhaps I'm taking the wrong approach, but I feel I need to fail a little bit before I get things right.

Gorgeous ruffle top! I agree, it's all about the shade that you choose, and you picked a winner. I like a slightly "dirtier", less bright shade of mustard on my skin rather than sunny yellow.

My sister (who is in the art field) mentioned that one of her pet peeves is people who eliminate an entire color from their wardrobe - such as green - because it's "not flattering" to them. We have so much flexibility if we're willing to experiment and find the right shade.

Yellow is such a winner if you get it right (as you have here). I have ONE yellow garment, a racer-back singlet for exercise, and it's fantastic.

Across seasons I have one perfect-length tunic dress, long enough for a summer dress and short enough to wear over jeans, with the right fit to layer things both over AND under it.
