I just recently received notice from the wonderful people at Schmap: Beyond the Map informing me that three of my San Francisco pictures were short-listed for their upcoming eighth edition of the San Francisco guide. How exciting! In a parallel universe, I would be blissfully traveling the world and working as a travel writer. I would be a female Rick Steves or a modern-day Henrietta Stackpole!
I published those pictures for the sake of sharing some of my trip’s highlights with you on this blog and because a considerable amount of my sightseeing was influenced by your wonderful suggestions! Thank you, again, for informing me about San Francisco must-sees and for allowing me to share my findings with you! Which in turn resulted in me living out a teeny tale of alter-ego goodness as travel writer extraordinaire. S.
