Endnotes:
I must apologize for my absence from the blogosphere this past week and for my ensuing absence over the next week or so.  I am on vacation, both at home with visitors and off to visit friends and family in other states!

Last week my little sister was visiting and while she looked quite chic everyday,  we were too busy and having too much fun to worry about photographing our outfits. Two evenings, we did manage to giggle through some photo shoots before heading out the door for dinner and drinks at one of the local watering holes.

L. is finishing up her undergraduate degree and though I am sure she wears her share of sweats and university logo-ed tee-shirts, most days she is adorable in American Apparel and Urban Outfitters. Taking cues from her older sister, she is a true layerer (even when you can’t see all the layers) and I think she has a great sense of proportion.  I don’t think I am a leggings person but I have seen her put together some fabulous looks with them. She also looks great in her longer v-neck tee with skinny jeans or “real pants” as she calls them (in contrast to the leggings).

When I have some down time in the next week or so, I will try to post another outfit or two from our adventuresome week!

You guys are too cute. I love “meet the family”-type posts. Sounds like you’re having fun. Makes me miss my own sister.

[...] sister, L. wore a somewhat similar ensemble of skinny jeans, grey tee, and colorful scarf.  As I’ve bragged before, L. has a great sense of style!  With a significant age difference and being in rather different [...]
