Well, to offer the German perspective on hat/scarf - although Germans don't have to deal with high temperatures often - the scarf is the way to go. A breeze on the back of the neck is a cause of all kinds of ailments in Germany, so I have been told, which is why you don't want a room with a draft. Luckily, either way is very stylish!

Thanks you so much for the opportunity to see pics of my home state! I got married two years ago and moved from flat western KS to the hills of Virginia. I'm turning green with envy right now, thinking of how close you were to my hometown. :) Although it doesn't have a lot to offer in the way of entertainment and population- nothing beats the sunrises, sunsets and the stars at night. Thanks again!

Amazing pictures! My grandfather has a TR-6 and they're fun little cars. I spent 6 hours Sunday in a Maverick without A/C, so I can sympathize. A sundress is definitely the perfect outfit!

Those rocks are amazing! I've never even heard of them.

As for hat or scarf, I say both! They each have their own place and purpose.

I have heard that pioneers used to carve their names in the formation on their way across the US...I suppose any evidence of that would be long gone, but interesting to consider nonetheless.
