End Notes:

I apologize for my absence over the past few days, but my mother-in-law and sister-in-law have been here helping me get things ready for the increasingly imminent arrival of the baby. We’ve assembled a lot of furniture, selected and purchased rugs and fabric, and organized everything in sight. If you just look at how stylish these ladies are then you know why I completely trusted them to help me put together a sweet but not kitschy room for my little one.

P. looked fantastic in a suspended-neck halter and crisply pleated white skirt. (The skirt was a gift her mom. My M.I.L. is all about equipping good style in her daughters!) The metallic punch of P.’s skinny belt and sandals added extra polish to the whole look.

Meanwhile, my M.I.L. was wearing what P. and I termed a “fun cardigan,” not only for its black and white print of graphic scrawls but its neckline of black beads. She’s been raving about these Sofft sandals all week. They are incredibly comfortable but also right on trend: metallic, jeweled, and just a tiny heel for lift.

I am so thankful that these two are so excited about the arrival of baby e. that they came all the way from their respective homes to help me ready mine. Six more weeks until the due date! Aunty P. can’t wait!
