End Notes:
I’m keeping this short today because my sister-in-law is here and my mother-in-law is about to pull up any minute! We are embarking on a “nesting” extravaganza, converting my current guest room/library into a baby’s room/guest room/library.
Although today was colder and cloudy, I channeled inspiration from the brilliant daylilies blooming outside my house and picked my favorite yellow top. The purple patterned shoes were chosen using Sal’s very-helpful advice on swapping out a “normal” pair of shoes for your most unexpected option. The lighter canvas background and the cork heel still tie in with the jacket, but I love how the print adds a playful punch to an otherwise basic outfit.

Posting from me may be light for a few days as we assemble furniture and organize everything, but I’m planning on coercing my sister-in-law into a guest post sometime soon!

You always look really good and you work that belly! It’s nice to see that pregnancy fashion can be chic, and that there are options besides empire-waisted and polyester!
Aw! You look so cute! How far along are you now? I will be 32 weeks tomorrow and I don’t look nearly as cute. I’ve got the whole ‘beached whale’ look going on but I wouldn’t trade it for the world! Have fun nesting!
I just love your patterned shoes, E. I own not a single pair myself, but you know how to rock them. Enjoy the nest-a-thon!
The shoes are definitely the perfect touch. Have fun nesting!
It’s nice to see you in a cropped jacket again! I’ve been missing those on you! You look fantastic as always… I love the yellow tee and awesome earrings.
Have fun!
Great casual look- those shoes are killer! They really do finish off the outfit.
Nice touch. I’m also a huge fan of cork heels. The yellow top also looks fab!
