My youngest sister-in-law, H., graduated this weekend from high school and we flew to Houston to celebrate her accomplishments as an outstanding scholar and decorated athlete. She is also very well dressed, and since that was not recognized in the graduation festivities proper, I thought it was worth mentioning here. I love that she wore a traditional color — white — for graduation, but in such a modern way. The graphic cut of the lace overlay, the breezy shape of the dress, and the brown leather accessories keep it all fresh and young.
L., who is a sophomore in college, was also looking cute in her short navy blue linen-blend dress. The ruffle detail at the collar made the simple, easy shape more feminine and her bright beaded sandals added a fun punch of color and texture.
I love these girls and I know they are going to make fantastic aunts for my little one!

One sister-in-law wasn’t able to make it to graduation, but hopefully she’ll be the feature of a guest post in a few weeks when she comes to help me prepare for the baby…
