Endnotes:

Yesterday E. mentioned she could use a little challenge to help her get dressed this week.  She got some great suggestions, but because both E. and S. are quite mentally taxed this week with it being the last week of the semester, we have decided to go with Sal’s suggestion.  I will be the official “challenger” this week and will send both E. and S. email style challenges each night.   They, in turn, can send me challenges or I will give myself a challenge for each day this week.

My first challenge for E. was to wear “pink – not magenta- pink!”  For S., I have chosen green.  These are not their respective go to colors so a challenge it should be!

S. sent me a challenge last night – “wear stripes.”   I don’t own much that is patterned but I do have a few stripped pieces so worked hard to pull more than one striped item into today’s outfit. This outfit went through many revisions this morning, but even though it looks a bit like a middle school uniform, I am happy with the results.

Stripes AND pattern mixing – impressive work, beautiful! And isn’t it fun to get little assignments? Husband Mike gives me mine fairly often, and it’s so fun for us both.

  2. [...] I got the e-mail from A. challenging me to wear “pink — not magenta — PINK” today, I knew it was going to be a challenge. Ever since I realized that pastels and my skin tone [...]

I guess it’s just a week for challenges, as I’m working on one too! Sometimes you just need that extra push to get creative, and then what comes out is better than expected!

I must say that I love that navy blazer. I seriously need to enter the world of blazer-dom.

  5. [...] our challenge from A. today is to wear floral. At first I told her I didn’t have anything floral that fits anymore. [...]

  6. [...] Today’s challenge actually comes from S., who told me that I needed to wear something checkered or plaid. It shortly came out, however, that what she really wanted to see was if I could figure out how to steal something from my husband N.’s closet and make it work with my bump. [...]

  8. [...] A. is our official challenger this week and at some point she challenged me to play along with Oh Honey No’s Clue challenge this week. Today’s outfit is a modern interpretation of Mrs. White. I like to think of this as Mrs. White in her younger days, maybe while on vacation in Greece (wearing white pants triggers thoughts of Greece for me) and before she had to pay off her traveling debt by working as a housekeeper and becoming the bitter and jaded character she’s known for in the game.    [...]

  9. [...] about to head off to another art exhibition opening tonight, and my challenge was to be FAAAAAHBULOUS, per Sal’s awesome post on, well, fabulousness. I do not currently [...]

  11. Adorable, c’est une très bonne idée.
