I really enjoy your blog, and take inspiration from it frequently! I've been blogging privately for a while, and have just recently "gone public" in hopes of entering web-based convos with stylistas like you. Please feel free to check my site out- nearly everything featured is my daily "velocoture", as I am a bike commuter, and I am still trying to work out pattern mixing- sometimes it works; sometimes not. I post my goofy looks, too.

I found your blog a few days ago, and I've been visiting it frequently ever since. It was just what I was looking for, being myself an academic who tries to keep a style while still looking appropriate and not overdone.
Most fashion sites just follow celebs' craziest trends, but, as you put it once, one can't show up at class -or faculty meetings- wearing satin jumpers. So I really like your blog, I like the fact that you don't follow every new trend blindly, but still you show a nice personal style.
Hope I can fight shyness and fear to showing myself online -I don't even have a facebook account- and send a picture or two before the CFP deadline.
