  • Yellow-orange scarf – gift from Sweden

  • Navy hoodie – J.Crew
  • Skinny Jeans – Abercrombie, thrifted, remixed
  • Wellies – J.Crew, gift from mom

Endnotes:

It’s a grey and rainy day today and I just returned from walking Indie. Days like these make it easy to retreat to the library and work, which is what I’m about to do, since there is little to entice me outdoors.

What helps on a day like this, is having some good, weatherproof footwear to keep you warm and dry while dodging puddles. Leave it to mom to provide such footwear! I love my basset hound wellies that my mom got me for my birthday last fall and they are the one thing that make rainy days a little bit more fun. I can feel like a kid running and splashing about it them, while still staying warm and dry, like the adult in me demands. S.

Some days it is nice to be warm but you still add a zip of style with the scarf!
