  • Grey jersey dress – Target
  • Circle necklace – J.Jill
  • Black cardi – Old Navy
  • Dress tie – from another jersey dress, remixed
  • Black boots – Banana Republic, remixed
  • Silver cuff and silver earrings- TJMaxx

Does this look familiar? So yes, I’m essentially wearing what I wore yesterday – another Jersey-dress and Cardigan ensemble – but as the lovely Diana mentioned, it’s just such an easy way to achieve both comfort and style. This is a $12 clearance Target dress I just came across while shopping for dog food and paper towels.

I was thrilled to find it since it will make a great addition to my Year Abroad Packing List. It’s a solid and a neutral, so this item will go with anything. It can be dressed up or down with varying jewelry and accessories, and can be layered or not, for different temperatures. On to the mental To-Pack list it goes.

Tonight, I’m dressing it (somewhat) up with this print tie (from yesterday’s dress) and bold silver jewelry for the dinner with friends that e. mentioned, but am keeping it simple with boots and a cardi, in case we do end up sitting around that bonfire later on this evening. S.

Cute outfit, but most of all I love the bottom picture. Dogs are the best accessory.

I really like what you’re doing with the sweater here. I have one (also from ON) with a similar scoop neck, and I never know what to do with it. The neckline just seems too weird on me somehow. But on you it looks so cute I might have to rescue mine from the growing “give away” pile on my closet floor and give it another chance. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks for the mention! I love how you remixed the tie from the other dress. And your puppy is so cute!
