End Notes:
Oh my, what a morning. As you can probably tell from all our end notes, there’s quite a bit of stress over at academichic central. And I have to say that I’m quite impressed that we’ve all managed to get ourselves decently dressed for the first two days of our hectic week. I think we all have been grateful for our color and pattern modules, which have provided a framework for spending even a few harried moments looking in our closets but reaching for items and colors that make otherwise simple outfits more interesting. Ta da! It’s a triad. I mean, we’re academics, after all, and we love us some methodology.
Finally, I just need to give a shout-out to these pants. I picked them up at a Super Target in Denver while shopping with my wonderful sisters-in-law and I love them. I’ve realized that I really appreciate maternity clothes shopping with someone else in tow who can look at my changing body more objectively and say, “No, those pants do not look like diapers. They look awesome and you should get them.” Thanks.

I love love love this color combo! I have always wondered how to make orange accessories work, and you have inspired me! You look beautiful
Diapers? I hope that didn’t really cross your mind, beautiful: Those pants look smashing on you!
i was just turned onto your blog a few days ago and i adore it and the methodology you girls have developed, kudos and good luck! unfortunately, law school central is not looking nearly as collected, but it’s nice to be able to draw my inspiration from those who can understand and sympathize with this kind of stress and commitment
Love the triad color combo and your necklace is fantastic!
Thanks, ladies!
@Kendra – I was really unsure about orange on me, period, but I’ve become a big fan over the last year. I love how little shots of this color can really freshen up an outfit, and I’d love to see how you mix in some orange accessories soon!
@Sal – Ah, but that’s because you can’t see how they come up over my belly like mom jeans. But I forgive them because they fit everything else like a dream!
@kng – Welcome, and thanks for your sweet words!
You continue to look so put together! I love watching what you do with your outfits with that baby bump of yours and am looking forward to the next few months and seeing what you come up with.
The outfit looks great! It’s so much harder to put together outfits when you’re stressed/tired etc, but you really do a great job.
U look so great, I love that necklace!
love that necklace too!
