I’m giving a gallery talk tonight, an event which raises the art history grad student’s perpetual problem of looking like you can speak authoritatively in a museum but are not a curator. I’m avoiding the cliche of all-black-artsy by adding a bit of navy. Yes, black and navy together. I have to be honest, though. For being a rule breaker, this outfit isn’t exactly giving me a jolt of rebellion-induced adrenaline.
