Endnotes:

For this week’s  Module 1 of How to Combine Colors, we’re tackling complimentary colors on the color wheel, which are combinations I don’t usually do. But I have already (bravely) worn salmon and blue, (the less risky) purple and yellow, and that left me with nowhere to go but the red and green family. I found this one particularly challenging because it’s hard not to think of Christmas and the holidays when seeing red and green. But being complimentary colors, when paired right, these two can look quite lovely together. I stuck to a maroon for the red and various shades of greens for the skirt, necklace, and tights.  I hoped to a achieve a warm, yet not too Santa’s helper, kind of a look. -S.
