  • Gray cardigan – Target
  • Jeans and woven leather belt – Gap Outlet, both remixed
  • Riding boots – BR, remixed
  • Necklace – Forever 21

End Notes:

After a few days of flurries and in-between rounds of sleet, we finally got a good winter snow. Since most of the outfit is about practicality — boots for tromping through snow and layers of sweaters for warmth — the necklace adds a splash of whimsy and color. I find it oddly useful to wear something a wee bit fanciful when faced with Very Important Assignments like analyzing Julia Kristeva’s “Women’s Time” or investigating the intersection of race, gender, and class in Marxist theory.
